Work Placement Requirements
What is a suitable Work Placement Host?
Different for every course. I.e. Early Childhood (NEED FOR CS)
- Long Day Care Centre
- Pre-school (in certain placements only – please refer to X for more detail)
- Access to 0-12 months, 12-23 months, 2-3 years, 3-5 years
- ECT onsite daily to supervise
- Work placement is to be completed with one(1) host only (i.e. you are unable to split the placement)

- Can I complete my work placement at my place of work?
- Can I do my work placement in the same place for all work placements?
- Can I split my placement between two(2) host organisations?
No. You are not permitted to split your placement. It must be completed at the same organisation for the duration of your work placements - What happens if I am sick whilst on placement?
